The end of the world

as seen through the eyes of Jesus.

This is looking at one of Jesus' private teaching sessions to the disciples,

while they sat on the Mount of Olives overlooking Jerusalem.

The sermon topic was 'things relating

to the end of the world,

and Christ's second coming',

which has been recorded in

Matthew chapters 24 and 25.

Jesus taught these things in response to the disciples asking WHEN the Temple

would be destroyed, and WHAT would the signs be at that time.

(These are best studied in the order that they are presented)

A sobering thought

The world's lure

Wandering

“Oh no! The whole lot is

going down!”

Fighting

against the current

The Abomination

The loud

trumpet call

A separating day

He won't come yet!”

Ready to attend?

(Parable of the ten virgins)

Ready to give an account?

(The parable of the talents and the three servants)

Ready to receive the final verdict?

(The parable of the sheep and the goats)

The end of the world are we ready to meet the Lord?
