Assessment activity examples: (relating to Lesson Plans: 22 to 25)

Cambs Agreed Syllabus:

Pupils will show evidence that they:
can explore and discuss questions about religion and religious issues, relating these to their own experience.
Example of activities:
Pupils are asked to write questions about life, death, humanity, the world, good, evil and God. They choose a few of their own questions and explain why they are interested in them or want to find an answer to them.
The children should continue their ongoing project on the Christian Faith.
Add this to the THE BIBLE section:
(e) Describe what the Bible means by "being lost".

Add this to the THE BIBLE section: (d) Bible Stories:
Explain what happened when the youngest son set his aim in life on having a good time and show how someone can become a slave to their pleasures & desires.

To explain this command: "You must love and help your neighbors just as much as you love and take care of yourself."
Jesus told a story called The Good Samaritan. What was this story?

Add this to the CHRISTIAN LIVING section:
(b) A Christians response to suffering.  Give some examples of these:  
i) Suffering caused by natural disasters & accidents.
ii) The actions of one or more people, cause others to suffer.
iii) Suffering caused by your own irresponsibility.
iv) Suffering caused by training.
v) Suffering due to helping other people.
vi) Someone suffers because they are a Christian.

Add this to the JESUS section:
(i) Write what happened to Jesus in the wilderness. (This is now known as 'Lent')

Add this to the CHURCH section:
(e) The Church was given power at Pentecost, explain what happened.

Add this to the CHRISTIAN LIVING section:
(c) The Bible says that death is not the end. What was the story that Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus?
Death is a doorway to a different life. What encouragings things did Jesus say to those who trusted in Him?
