Football Sketch:
(Teachers note: You will need 2 'small' children, a neighbour & a parent.)
The 2 children are passing a football to each other.
Boy: Let's see what damage I can do to that window!
Other boy: Don't be stupid!
Boy: What's the matter with you! You're not 'chicken' are you?
Other boy: [Looks away]
Boy: [Takes a massive kick at the ball & it breaks a neighbour's window)
Neighbour: [angry] Oi! That's my window you've broken!
Boy: [Hangs his head]
Neighbour: That's a lot of money that is. It's not ordinary glass you know! It will cost a fortune to repair that, & I want you to pay for it.
Boy: [Looks worried] How am I going to pay for it?
Neighbour: That's not my problem! I want this repaired now!
Boy: But I can't!
Parent: [Walks onto the scene] I see that there is a problem here.
Neighbour: Yes, there certainly is a problem! My window has been broken by this child, & I want it paid for now!
Parent: [Puts their hand into their pocket & pulls out a bundle of money] Here, this should cover all your expenses & pay for all the trouble this has caused you.
Neighbour: Thanks, that should more than cover it. No hard feelings then?
Boy & Parent: No. Bye!
